 Opened in 1955, Dorridge Junior School is a community junior school situated on an attractive and spacious site near to the centre of Dorridge village.  The original building has been extended to give fourteen permanent classrooms, a sports pavilion overlooking the extensive playing field, hall, computerised library, learning support / audio visual room and multi-media ICT room.

The School serves an extensive catchment zone; all appropriately aged children living within its boundaries are entitled to a place at one of the primary schools within the zone.  Parents of children living outside the catchment area may apply for a place at the School by contacting the Head Teacher and
